Black Bioinks from Superstructured Carbonized Lignin Particles

نویسندگان

چکیده

A renewable source of carbon black is introduced by the processing lignin from agro-forestry residues. Lignin side streams are converted into spherical particles direct aerosolization followed carbonization. The obtained submicron combined with cellulose nanofibers, which act as a binder and rheology modifier, resulting in new type colloidal bioink. bioinks tested handwriting ink writing. After consolidation, display total light reflectance (%R) at least three times lower than commercial inks (reduction 12 to 4%R). loading up 20% nanofibers positively affects cohesion dried bioink (1 16 MPa), no significant reduction reflectance. This result superstructuring components, disrupts particle packing, intensifies interactions, introduces absorption, non-reflective multiple scattering.

Lignin Separation from Kraft Black Liquors by Tangential Ultrafiltration

I n chemical pulping a large part of the wood is dissolved during digestion. The dry matter content of the generated black liquor is typically 12 to 18 wt% [1, 2]. In the case of kraft black liquors four main groups of organic constituents are present, 30-45 wt% ligneous material, 25-35 wt% saccharinic acids, about 10 wt% formic and acetic acid, and 3-5 wt% extractives. It also contains about 1...

A Digital Printing of Bioinks

Recently piezo-based ink jet printers have proven to be reliable, productive manufacturing tools particularly where expensive materials are involved. As bioengineers, we are capitalizing on the ability of piezoelectric-based drop-ondemand ink jets printers to precisely deposit a wide variety of biologically active materials to create custom arrayed libraries and patterns. These applications and...

Removal of Pollutants with Activated Carbon Produced from K2CO3 Activation of Lignin From Reed Black Liquors

The activated carbon was prepared from fast precarbonization of reed lignin in the fluidized-bed followed by K2CO3 activation. The impregnation ratio was = 1:1 in this research. The effect of activation temperature upon the BET specific surface area and specific pore volume of the carbon was closely investigated. Increasing activation temperature led to an opening and widening of the porous str...

Massive Elementary Particles Black Holes ? †

We use exact results in a new approach to quantum gravity to study the effect of quantum loop corrections on the behavior of the metric of space-time near the Schwarzschild radius of a massive point particle in the Standard Model. We show that the classical conclusion that such a system is a black hole is obviated. Phenomenological implications are discussed.
